Zippy (Zipporah) is an Irish Visual Artist based in Belfast  working in the realms of Mural art, Illustration and Textile Art / Costume Prop making for Film.

​​

Known for bold, crisp illustrative designs, Zippy’s work bursts with punchy colour palettes, playful typography, and lively motifs. Drawing inspiration from local wildlife, Irish heritage, and experimental letterforms. She carries a distinctive visual language across her multidisciplinary practice.

Recent projects explore deeper narrative elements within character design, alongside influences from folklore, culture and traditions. Zippy’s creative journey spans over fourteen years in the creative sector, encompassing diverse experiences such as working with major film and TV production companies, creating murals worldwide (Thailand, UK, Iceland, Portugal, Spain etc) and producing illustrations for both large commercial enterprises and independent brands.

Her work has been featured in solo and group

exhibitions across the UK and Ireland, including prominent venues such as Hen's Teeth (Dublin), Pure Evil Gallery (London), Pepsi Co (London), Oakland Gallery (New Brighton), and Yardlife Gallery (Glasgow).

Zippy is one of the Key Organisers of Hit the North, a Street Art Fesitval in Belfast that has a line up of 60 Plus artists painting each year an international headliners. Her Street Art Career has seen her paint at several major street art festivals across Europe and beyond including; Hit the North Chiang Mai: Thailand, Upfest: Bristol, London Mural Festival:  London, Yardworks: Glasgow, Waterford Walls: Waterford, Meeting of Styles: Kosovo and many more.
